UPPCB, Cantonment Board to pay Environmental Compensation for pollution in Mathura: NGT
The UP pollution control board (UPPCB) and Mathura Cantonment Board have been directed by the National Green Tribunal to pay Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively for causing pollution in the temple town.

Dumping waste in Yamuna near Taj Mahal sad state of affairs: NGT
The National Green Tribunal today expressed disgust at the dumping of solid wastes in river Yamuna near the Taj Mahal, saying it demonstrated a sad state of affairs and directed UP government and its authorities to get it all cleaned immediately.
