A case has also been registered in the Anantnag police station, the statement from the Environment Ministry stated. As per the preliminary investigation, the offenders arrested from Anantnag and Manwal were partners in the Illegal Wildlife Trade.

Royal Bengal Tiger skin recovered in Kolkata in joint operation by forest department officials

Acting on a tip-off, the officers of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, Wildlife Crime Control Cell and West Bengal Forest Directorate conducted a joint raid and recovered an old skin of Royal Bengal Tiger. The officers also arrested three persons in possession of the tiger skin.
