Out of those 17 bidders for the Women's IPL teams, seven are companies which own men’s IPL franchises – Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals – as only these teams have an audited net worth of over Rs 1,000 crore as of March 31, 2022.
