In retaliation to Tamil Nadu bandh, Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj calls for Karnataka bandh on April 12 to oppose the formation of Cauvery Water Management Board, say reports.
The Supreme Court had ordered the constitution of the Board, which the Centre has dragged its feet on.

No buses from Karnataka have entered Tamil Nadu today. It is unclear if the bus services will resume, especially on the super-busy Chennai-Bengaluru route, when the bandh ends around 6 pm.
