Doha, Jan 25: Spain`s Alvaro Quiros won the Qatar Masters with a three-shot win over Swede Henrik Stenson and South African Louis Oosthuizen at the Doha Golf Club on Sunday.
Quiros, who led by one shot overnight, clinched his third victory on the European Tour after Stenson and Louis Oosthuizen faded away on the back nine.
Quiros, the first Spaniard to win in Qatar in the 12 editions of the tournament that began in 1998, shot a three under par 69 on Sunday for an aggregate of 19 under par-269 for the tournament.
Stenson and Oosthuizen finished tied second with 16 under while Ireland`s Damien McGrane was fourth on 275 with Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez and Dutchman Maarten Lafeber one shot behind on 276.
