WhatsApp is back but Twitter can't keep calm

WhatsApp suffered a global outage on Friday afternoon with users across the world complaining that they were unable to send or receive messages through the App. WhatsApp confirmed the outage and said that it was working to resolve the problem.

Along with India, users from most of Europe, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Saudi Arabia, USA and Sri Lanka complained about the problem. There has been no statement yet from WhatsApp on why the outage occurred.

People took to social media to report that they are unable to delete or edit their profile image or update their information. Some even said their privacy settings cannot be updated.

But while WhatsApp is desperate to resolve the issue, Twitter missed no time in making the most of the situation.

Check out what Twitterati said:

Feeling the election season:

Does it work if Aadhaar is linked? Pun intended.

First world problems

Thank God. You Exist!

Did you uninstall to check too?

Burn! Can anything be worse than this?

Earlier, WhatsApp suffered a global outage in May and it took them hours to fix the problem.
