Bigg Boss 11 premiere updates: Salman Khan kicks off new season in style

New Delhi: The Much-awaited season of Bigg Boss has begun and host Salman Khan welcomed all contestants in the Bigg Boss season 11 premiere. This season is different from the others owing to the unique concept of padosis as could be seen in the promos. 

Here are the live updates of the premiere as they happened:

• Bigg Boss will air on weekdays at 10:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.
• With this, Bigg Boss season 11 premiere wraps up with Salman saying goodbye in his signature style. This season looks promising with some of the most interesting people in the house and cold wars starting already!
• The padosis have their first task- they have to behave like a family in front of the housemates.
• Bigg Boss welcomes the padosis who stay in a separate section of the house.
• Housemates are welcomed by Bigg Boss.
• Guess who is the next padosi of the Bigg Boss house? None other than, Salman Khan! This twist is sure to take the excitement level up a notch. Salmaan shifts into a secret room right next to the housemates and will observe them closely.
• Shilpa and Vikas enter the house.
• A cold war has begun already between Shilpa and Vikas.
• The last contestant of this season, Vikas Gupta is here. 
• Shilpa Shinde is the next contestant. Turning the tables, she gives an 'Aachar' challenge to Salman. 
• Puneesh goes through the shower test as he is deemed unfit for the house. Zubair Khan enters the house upon being deemed as fit by the padosis.
• Dawood's relative, Zubair Khan is the next contestant of Bigg Boss 11. Things just got intense!
• The first tiff of this season is between Arshi and Puneesh!
• Puneesh Sharma is the next contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house.
• Hina enters the house the greets all contestants. Hina and Hiten are friends from before as can be inferred by the way they greet each other.
• Hina Khan sings beautifully and impresses us all.
