Mumbai: Shilpa Shinde may be fighting a lone battle against Vikas Gupta but her former fiancé Romit Raj has praised the way his ex fiancée is handling adverse situations inside the house of Bigg Boss 11.
For the uninitiated, Vikas and Shilpa have been at loggerheads ever since they had fallout while working on a popular TV show. Subsequently, Shilpa was out of work for almost a year-and-a-half and this allowed more bitterness to seep in. Now that they are co-inmates inside the Bigg Boss 11 house, as expected things between them are getting worse.
Vikas and Shilpa have had a number of arguments so far. During one such verbal spat, when Shilpa took Paarth Samthaan’s name (an actor who had accused Vikas of sexual harassment), Vikas named Romit Raj. He said, “Main Hiten ko bataun Romit kaun hai?”
Interestingly, Romit, has expressed his willingness to be a part of the show. He said he wouldn’t mind participating if he is approached by the makers and offered good money.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Romit while responding to questions at the Indian Telly Awards red carpet said, “I am not watching Bigg Boss 11. But when my name was taken on the show, I had to watch it, because fans on social media started messaging me. So I saw the episode and the fight too. And I think Shilpa is smart and intelligent. She didn’t say much when it came to me. We know that people tend to get into arguments on Bigg Boss. People insult each other. And then things get sorted too. The smart person is that who is just a spectator of all the fights and that is the one who will win the show.”
“The bigger controversy will be when I will go inside the Bigg Boss house. I haven’t been offered to be on the show yet. We all know that people get money to go on Bigg Boss. And if I am getting money, then why not. I will definitely think about it,” he added.
