'The Kapil Sharma Show' accused of 'stealing' joke by stand-up comedian

New Delhi: Ace comedian Kapil Sharma has apparently become controversy's favourite child. After the alleged mid-flight brawl with Sunil Grover, his television program 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is now making the headlines for another reason. This time, stand-up comedian Abijit Ganguly has reportedly accused it of plagiarism.

According to a DNA report, Abijit has alleged that the 'younger brothers' joke on Indian bowlers (which featured on the 100th episode of the show) was plagiarised from his YouTube video. Yes, you read that right.

"Yesterday, at around 10:30 PM, I suddenly got a message from a friend on FB who said that my younger brother bowler joke had been lifted in The Kapil Sharma Show. Someone also tweeted out to me informing me of the same.I was genuinely flustered but still wanted to check before drawing any conclusions. Having checked online, I am disappointed and gutted to see that they have indeed done that," he wrote on Facebook.

Along with several other things he pointed out online, Abijit also highlighted the part of the episode where his joke was used. Check out his complete online post:
