Priyanka Gandhi appointed Congress general secretary for UP East
Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the Congress today appointed Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the party's general secretary for the Uttar Pradesh (East) region. This is the first time she will play a major role in the party's organisational hierarchy.
