Blast rocks New York underground subway station, 4 injured; 1 suspect arrested

NEW YORK: A blast triggered by an improvised explosive device (IED) ripped through an underground subway station in New York City on Monday, injuring at least four people, the authorities said. The blast took place under the busy Port Authority Bus Terminal which is close to the iconic Times Square. A high-security alert has been sounded in the city.
