This has to be the mother of all ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
All this while, the Ice Bucket Challenge has been taken up by celebrities and the common people to spread awareness about the disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS, which was started by the ALS Foundation. And now, joining the challenge is none other than Samsung Galaxy S5.
Yes! You got it right. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has taken the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. And as anyone who takes up the challenge, Samsung has nominated iPhone 5s, HTC One M8 and the Nokia Lumia 930.
In a youtube video by the Samsungmobileuk, a Samsung Galaxy S5 is seen with a female voice-over which says, "I am the Samsung Galaxy S5. This is my Ice Bucket Challenge. (Ice and water is poured on the phone) Of course this is freezing. I nominate the iPhone 5s, HTC One M8 and the Nokia Lumia 930."
The video has got over 4 million views in less than a week.
The latest smartphone entry from the South Korean company is a certified water and dust resistant, which HTC has claimed for its One M8 product too.
It would be interesting to see if Apple, HTC and Lumia would accept the challenge.
