Saygus on Tuesday launched the V2, known as V Square, smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES) in Las Vegas, a phone that supports 300GB of storage, probably the first of its kind in that section.

After its original phone, VPhone, failed to live up to the market's demands, the V2 smartphone is considered by critics to be the Swiss Army Knife of smartphones.

The Saygus V2 comes with a 5-inch screen, 1080p full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4 and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

With an aim to take it to the next level, the V2 smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 3GB RAM.

To top that up, it comes with 64GB of internal storage and TWO microSD card slots which support 128GB each of memory which adds up to 256GB of external memory; 300GB of memory in all. Now, that is real sweet.

The V2 phone is backed up by a 3100 mAH battery with wireless charging compatibility, 21MP back camera and a 13MP front-facing camera, both with optical image stabilization.

Other high featurs of the phone include infrared transmitter, 60GHz mobile transceiver, fingerprint scanner and Harman Kardon audio technology.

The phone is also waterproof to the IPX7 standard, which means that it can be kept in one meter depth of water for 30 minutes.

So far, there are no news about the pricing. But with that type of features, the V2 phone is sure no budget smartphone.
