New Delhi: Xiaomi India declared a price cut of its Mi 4 64 GB smartphone on Friday. The Chinese smartphone maker dropped the price of its Flagship product Mi 4 64 GB model by Rs, 4000.
The Mi 4 64 GB is currently offered for sale at e-tailing giant Flipkart, priced at Rs, 19,999, against the launch price of Rs, 23, 999.
Xiaomi India in its official twitter account said, “#Mi4PriceDrop Yep! Rs 4,000 off on Mi 4 64GB — starting right now for Rs 19,999 on @Flipkart”.
Earlier, the price of Mi 4 16 GB variant also received a price cut of Rs, 2000, pulling the price down to Rs, 17,999.
Being a budegeted-phone provider Xiomi seemingly intends to compete with hot-selling phones like One Plus One, priced at Rs. 21,998.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company's MIUI 6 skin on top. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RAM.
The Mi 4 sports the same 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920 pixels) found on the Mi 3; although this time the company has used a JDI OGS full lamination display.
Speaking of the camera it has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Xiaomi Mi 4, with both sporting Sony's stacked CMOS sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 3080mAh Li-ion battery.
