New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun through Weibo post has confirmed that the company will start taking pre-orders for Mi Note Pro from May 6.
Mi Note Pro was launched along with Mi Note in January this year to compete with the likes of global tech giants Apple and Samsung.
The Mi Note was rolled out in the market soon after the launch while the release of teh the Mi Note Pro was delayed.
The Mi Note Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM and a 2K display during its launch said that it will retail for CNY 3,299 (about Rs 33,000).
However, the exact price of the device cannot be ascertained now.
On the specs front, the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera and 4-megapixel front camera. The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with MIUI 6 interface. It packs a 3GB of RAM coupled with16GB and 64GB internal storage options.
