No nervousness before 'Sarbjit' release: Randeep Hooda

Mumbai: Actor Randeep Hooda, who plays the title role in "Sarbjit, says he is not nervous ahead of the biopic's release.

In the Omung Kumar-directed film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is essaying the character of the slain prisoner's sister.

As Sarbjit, Randeep looks convincing and he is excited to show his work to everyone.

"I am excited to share my work with everybody. The nervousness was there before I did it and while I was doing it. But now it's over and it's (the result) not in my hands," he said at the film's premiere here last night.

Randeep praised his sister Anjali, who was also present at the event.

"She is my real sister Anjali. She helped me shed all the weight. I want to thank her. My one sister (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) is trying to get me out of jail (in the film) and my real sister is trying to make me look like I am in jail," he joked.

Randeep seemed upset when he was asked whether he felt overshadowed by co-star Aishwarya in the film.

"Sarbjit" hits cinemas tomorrow.
