Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', Lionsgate's 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay ? Part 2', the adaptation of EL James' 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and 'Jurassic World' are the other films that round off the list.

'The Force Awakens' will hit theaters on December 18, 2015. It stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, along with original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

In its survey of more than 1,000 fans in the last week of December, Fandango named Jennifer Lawrence as the female fan favourite, while Robert Downey Jr topped the list for males.

'Star Wars' actress Ridley is the breakout actress of the year, while 'Fifty Shades' actor Jamie Dornan topped the male breakout star list.
