Cait approaches Delhi Govt seeking protection against sealing

New Delhi, Oct 01: A delegation of Confederation
of All India Traders (Cait) on Sunday submitted a memorandum to
the Delhi government seeking protection from the sealing drive
in the city.

The Cait delegation said the government should take a
lead in protecting traders from the sealing drive keeping in
view the humanitarian and economic crisis likely to arise in
the event of sealing of business establishments in the city.

In a communique, Cait said that it, through the
memorandum, apprised Delhi Urban Development Minister A K
Walia that nearly six lakh traders are about to fall in the
sealing net which will severely harm the economic health of
the capital.
