The BSF has arrested five persons who were involved in a fake currency racket. The racket is believed to have the backing of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba.

Zeenext Bureau
Srinagar, Aug 28:
In yet another incident of cross-border terrorism, the Border Security Force (BSF) arrested five persons who were involved in a fake currency racket. The racket is believed to have the backing of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba
It may be recalled that a similar racket was busted last week by the BSF, apart from the seizure of fake currency notes and printing equipment from different parts of the Valley, BSF Deputy Inspector General R.P. Singh said.
The DGP said this clearly shows that the militant group has been actively involved in fomenting trouble by supporting the activities of the currency racketeers in the border State.
