Mumbai: He played a key role in the 26/11 carnage in Mumbai and brought unending darkness to lives of hundreds of innocent people but he himself is afraid of darkness.

Abu Jundal, handler of Ajmal Kasab, has gone on a hunger strike in the Arthur Road cell demanding that he be shifted out of the windowless cell he has been lodged for the last three years.

As per a report in the Mid-Day, Jindal wants that he shifted to the 'Anda cell' so that he can at least get some fresh air and light.

The 26/11 accused has also claimed that he is mentally stressed as he is never allowed to stress out of the cell.

The report further says that Jundal has mentioned all his demands in an application moved by his lawyer before the MCOCA court.

The plea also adds that Jundal is being forced by prison authorities to confess about his role in the deadly terror attack.

Jundal was arrested in Saudi Arabia and deported to India in 2012. intelligence agencies claim that he was present in the 'control room' in Pakistan during the Mumbai terror attacks.
