Viral: Thai rapper Milli eats Mango sticky rice on stage at Coachella - see pics

Thai rapper Milli recently made waves at music festival Coachella after she ate a traditional Thai dessert Mango sticky rice on stage while performing. Her video went viral quickly and there was a surge of people searching for the term - mango sticky rice. The sales for the same even soared at Bangkok’s famous Mae Varee mango sticky rice as per a report by the Bangkok post.

Rapper Milli's performance was not just noteworthy because of her mango rice stunt, it was also important as she was the second Thai artist to perform at Coachella after Lisa from Blackpink.

She had performed with several artists from the music group 88rising as well on 17th April at Coachella. Milli shared many pictures of her enjoying mango sticky rice on social media which are also going viral.

For the unversed, Mango sticky rice is a traditional south asian dessert made of fresh mango, coconut milk, jaggery and glutinous rice. It is usually consumed during the peak summer months of April and May in Thailand.

The rapper began her career after she appeared on the Thai TV show 'The Rapper 2'. Later, in 2020, she recorded her first single titled 'Phak Khon' themed around anti-bullying.
