Railways ensures 100% minimum wage payment to contract workers through Shramik Kalyan Portal
The Railway Ministry has ensured 100 percent compliance of payment of minimum wages to contract workers through its e-application.

Indian Railway Shramik Kalyan e-application has been developed and launched on October 1, 2018. A total of 15,812 contractors and 3,81,831 contract workers also registered on this portal till Tuesday.

'Achhe Din' for domestic helps in Rajasthan, labour department sets minimum wage limit
Rajasthan Labour Department has issued a notification fixing minimum wage for domestic helps in the state. According to the notification, a person has be paid a minimum of Rs 5, 642 per month for an eight-hour shift per day for cooking, washing, baby sitting and other daily chores.
